A tour of the Lindt & Sprüngli chocolate factory
Swiss Tradition de Luxe | The Triangle
One of the most popular pieces in Lindt & Sprüngli’s Swiss Tradition
de Luxe box collection, the Triangle is a unique concoction of
hazelnut and chocolate. The first steps in producing the Triangle
involve mixing the couverture and hazelnut paste. The paste is then
fed into a depositor that shapes and deposits the triangles on a
conveyor. As the hazelnut triangles make their way down the
conveyor, they pass through an enrober, which covers them with
couverture. Further down the line, the chocolates are sprinkled with
hazelnut pieces and enrobed a second time. Once cooled, the
triangles move on to the packaging line, where a robotic eye and
finger accurately place them in their boxes. Following a final hands-
on inspection, the Swiss Tradition collection is boxed, wrapped, and
processed for distribution. | CONTINUED
