Experience Ecuador
Ten chocolates made from Ecuadorian cacao
PLANTATIONS | Arriba 90%
The Plantations Arriba 90% has a thick yet pleasant chocolate-like
aroma that is accompanied by high floral notes. The flavor profile
is extremely complex, ranging every few seconds between dark
Bordeaux wine, dried figs, roasted almonds, black tea, and hints
of red rose. While maybe a little intimidating for a chocolate
novice, this bar is a must for a connoisseur interested in learning
the true potential of Arriba cacao.
Plantations chocolate is certified by the Rainforest Alliance.
Working together with Ecuador’s Conservación y Desarrollo, a
not-for-profit organization which helps train cacao farmers and
organize them into cooperatives, both the Alliance and Plantations
are focusing their efforts on sustainable cacao cultivation.
