Experience Ecuador
Ten chocolates made from Ecuadorian cacao

E. GUITTARD | Cacao Nacional 65%
E. Guittard’s Ecuador Nacional has a very complex aroma
consisting primarily of floral, rather than fruity, accents. The
flavor profile is sophisticated, with well-orchestrated notes of
fresh, wet grasses, lavender, green tea, and other mild herbs.
The flavor release is long and noticeably active, but very clean.
 E. Guittard has recently introduced a new line of artisinal
chocolates inspired by Etienne Guittard, the company’s founder.
Three of their single-origin chocolates include: Sur del Lago (a
blend of
criollo and trinitario cacaos from the Sur del Lago region
of Venezuela); Madagascar (made with cacao from the country’s
Sambirano Valley); and Colombia (made with cacao from San
Vicente de Chucuri).
Working directly with cacao plantation owners and farmers and
relying on his family’s traditional chocolate-making methods, Gary
Guittard—great-grandson of Etienne and current owner of the
Guittard Chocolate Company—has dedicated himself to helping
enhance the chocolate experience for both connoisseurs and
professionals.
